In My Own Words
I believe you deserve to know not only where I stand, but why.
This is where I’ll share my thoughts directly with you, about the issues facing Robertson County, decisions being made by our local government, questions I hear from neighbors, and what I believe we can do better.
You won’t always agree with me, and that’s okay. My goal is to be clear about where I stand, explain how I got there, and give you the information you need to make your own decisions.

Recently a Robertson County resident shared an article with me that was published back in April. This article discusses how Panamint Capital, the investment company that owns/operates the Big Rooter solar projects here in Robertson County, is already exploring a potential sale of these projects.
The more concerning part of the article that leapt out at me, however, was the mention of the Big Rooter Data Center (BRDC) project, which was already in the advanced stages of development at that time, according to this article. No one from the county has mentioned a data center, and as stated by the current judge back in March, the county was not aware of a data center coming to Robertson County. Now, we all know that it has become common practice for these types of projects to have elected officials sign NDAs to keep them from interfering with the bidding process. But this also keeps them from informing the public about these projects, which is unethical in my opinion. We all live here and have a right to know what may be developed in our county that will affect us. So, was this a case that our elected officials couldn’t tell us about the project, or they truly didn’t know? If they didn’t know, how could they not be aware of such a major development occurring in their own county?
That brings us to the next question of whether there is another abatement coming. Since these projects are all being developed together, and by the same investment company, are they going to ask for an abatement for the data center as well? If so, are the current county commissioners and judge going to grant it? Are they already negotiating one, but they can’t say anything because they signed NDAs?
Hopefully we don’t find out at the last minute that our county is giving away more of its future tax revenue in exchange for nothing but a so called ‘seat at the table’.
